Error Flashcards is an offline-first study app that helps users turn mistakes into flashcards and review them on a steady learning rhythm.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the current App Store version of Error Flashcards. The current version is designed to work primarily on device and does not require account registration for core study use.
2. Information Processed on Device
- Problem images, pasted text, prompts, choices, answers, and explanations you import.
- Flashcards, decks, tags, review history, reminder time, study goal, and default deck settings.
- Notification schedule information needed to create local study reminders.
3. How the App Uses This Information
- To recognize text from images on device and generate editable flashcard drafts.
- To save and organize your flashcards locally on your device.
- To support review scheduling, weak-spot analysis, and local reminder notifications.
4. Data Collection and Sharing
The current version of Error Flashcards does not collect your study content from the app to developer-operated servers for core learning use.
The current version does not require user accounts and is not designed to intentionally share imported study content with third parties for advertising or analytics.
5. Permissions
- Photo Library: used to let you import problem images for offline recognition.
- Camera: used to capture problem images for offline recognition.
- Notifications: used to send local study reminders if you enable them.
6. Storage
The current version stores flashcards and related study settings locally on your device to support fast offline use.
7. Your Choices
- You may choose not to grant camera, photo library, or notification permissions.
- You can remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device.
8. Changes to This Policy
If future versions add cloud sync, analytics, or other server-based features, this policy will be updated before those changes are rolled out.
